Solution
--------

Here are the complete tips to help you finish this daft adventure, 
if you made the mistake of buying it.  You'll be told what to do 
every step of the way, and here is, more or less, how to to it.


THE OFFICES

After the briefing, you will get a crack at the offices.  Click on 
each one and sweep the mouse around slowly, so that you don't miss 
any of the clues.  None matter all that much, but see and hear them 
anyway.

The most important clue is in Steve's office.  Under a lamp you'll 
find a piece of paper with some letters on it.  These correspond to 
the telephone number keys, so when you get at the safe behind the 
picture on the wall, all you have to do is to type 7425 and you'll 
be able to get at what's inside.  This is another message with some 
numbers.  Make a note of them because they are crucial.


THE FUNERAL

It really isn't terribly important which lines you use when talking 
to all four characters, but you could save before you start and try 
various things.  With Yuri, start asking about the time and go on to 
ask about why he came to America and find out what's happening in 
Russia.  With the next guy, start by saying you are a friend of 
Steve's, ask about his death and then about the guy's role.  With 
the wife, offer your condolences, then say you are a friend of 
Steve's.  Choose the line with the sobs and sniffs to find out about 
the game.  With the reporter, say the bombs weren't armed, i.e., go 
along with the official story.


THE FARM

Tell the woman you are asking questions and then ask about the 
president.  Forbearing to mention the limp, ask if they found 
something in the wreck.  When you get a chance to look at the 
"footstool", click on the left switch and enter 3333, then click on 
the right switch to get a garbled message.  After all this, you'll 
get to see the plane in the barn (look at everything, don't miss the 
canisters under the chair, nor the parachutes).  Finally, exit and 
go visit Jim Bob.  Ask him what happened and find out about the 
people there and where they were going.


THE POKER GAME

You should now be landed with playing with the mob.  In the first 
game, bet big until the last round, then beat reasonably.  Keep 
asking about Steve whenever you get the chance.  In the next game, 
stay in the game right to the end, then tell Jimmy he wins.  Go into 
the next game and proceed as before, betting big - in the last 
round, call your opponent's bluff.  Then comes the last game.  You 
will notice that there are far too many aces around, but stay in, 
deny you are cheating and then leave the table quietly.  During the 
games, and as the opportunity arises, keep asking questions, it 
really doesn't matter much, but by now you problably know what to 
ask.  You should find out how the mob helped Steve.


THE COMPOUND

So now you know about the hidden lab and are placed there to 
investigate.  Look at everything, as before, but the most important 
thing is a sheet of paper with some instructions where the 
Psychotron is.  Although you will see that it is quite smashed, as 
soon as you have explored the compound it will miraculously put 
itself together again.  Now you have to enter these numbers in this 
order:  81568, 728, 828970 and 2217.  This will help you see what 
happened in the compound, so do the rounds again.


THE FINALE

You will be contacted and asked to solve the mystery, through a 
whole lot of questions.  If you want to solve it yourself, don't 
read any further.

If you are fed up with the whole thing and want to finish it quick,
here is the answer:  pick lines 4, 3, 2, 2, 1, 2.  This will take 
you to the final sequence, and to win the game you have to use the 
last line, i.e., turn the Psychotron on the Mafia boys.
